GoPets is a virtual world that allows kids to create their own pet, clothes and land. Additionally pets are encouraged to learn a craft to earn the shells (money) for cool accessories. Though there is no fee required, a paid membership provides added shells and special items each month.
Kids take their kids on quests to earn shells and items as well as to level up. GoPets offer thirty levels and four pets per account. A step-by-step quest and level guide is available on the site. The forums are helpful when you are stuck. The pets wander between different lands exposing the children to new types of food and customs.
What does it cost?
Premium subscription is available for $6.95 a month with automatic renewal through a PayPal account. You can also purchase a twelve-month membership for $29.95. Gold shells can also be purchased with cash.
