Ridemakerz
Do you have a car crazy kid in your household? Then you’ll want to check out Ridemakerz, the home of custom-made “ridez.
The Space
An online, build-your-own car store that is also part social network and part video game. After building their car, players can check out other players’ rides and play games that earn them “Zmotes” points, which get cooler with each stage.
Who Can Play?
Your boys-especially your pre-teens-will be all over this, but don’t forget to buy one for Dad!
Getting Started
Players can either build a vehicle online and then order a die-cast version of the car for real, or buy a die-cast car and then enter a special code that creates a virtual replica. Players can choose from muscle cars, hot rods or pick-ups.
Mod Your Ride!
RideMakerz allows players to customize their car in almost every way imaginable, from body style to color to tires and wheels to lights to decal placement to sounds and other accessories. Players can even add a remote control option. Between all of the choices available, the company estimates there are over 650,000 possible combinations!
What Moms Should Know
While players can admire each other’s rides, there is no text chatting at RideMakerz, so you can rest assured knowing your child is safe in this virtual community.
A Bit of Extra Info
Through the web site, you can register to host your own Ridemakerz Bash. Packages are available to suit any budget, and all packages include a RideMakerz Crew Member.
